I was born and raised in Clovis, California. Growing up on a small farm in the outlying hills, I’ve learned how to work hard and efficiently at an early age. Thanks to both of my grandfathers, who were men of many trades, I was taught to have an eye for quality workmanship. One was a home builder and civil engineer, while the other was a man of many trades.
My father has taught me the discipline and enjoyment of working with my hands. I have worked at numerous physically demanding jobs throughout the years, and I have learned the value of a dollar. At age 20, I was fortunate enough to purchase my first home. My love for home ownership has grown since then.
For the last 10+ years, I have been running my own home repair business where I work on every facet of a home you can think of. This includes correcting less than satisfactory work from others. I have developed an eye for finding issues on homes due to working as a state-licensed termite inspector. I quickly learned that business from the bottom up.
Additionally, I learned the proper way to make repairs to a home. I am devoted to understanding the “why” and “what” was the root of the issues on any given structure. All of the things I have done over the years have helped me develop the essential skills of a wise home inspector.
I am certified by InterNACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors) as a CPI inspector. Additionally I am certified By FIA Academy, the leader in inspection training throughout California. I am an interNACHI association member and participate in continuing education annually.
